Sonic Voyage Fest launches in New England

Sonic Voyage is described as a “travelling progressive rock festival,” a somewhat different concept than the standard music festival. May 22-24 (Memorial Day Weekend in the US), three progressive rock bands will present their music in three different venues in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

Circuline, Shadow Eden, and Joe Deninzon’s Stratospheerius will carry the prog torch for a joint mini-tour they are billing as “Sonic Voyage,” giving New England music fans the chance to catch three flavors of prog each evening.

For the Saturday show, two additional bands will share the bill: Ben Levin Group and Joe Stump’s Black Knight Castle. The Sunday event will feature master classes in the afternoon on songwriting and improvisation.
