Andrew Charles Cyrille (born November 10, 1939, Brooklyn, New York) is an American jazz drummer. He gained widespread attention in 1964 when he joined Cecil Taylor's band, an association which lasted ten years. He has worked with a wide variety of other musicians, mostly in the avant-jazz realm.
