Hecenia was a French progressive band of the 80s-90s. On their first album, the band consisted of Pierre-Yves Chiron (bass, guitars), Thierry Brandet (drum programming), and Jean-Paul Trutet (vocals), but for their second album, only Brandet remained, now on keyboards and joined by Pascal Tremblay (bass), Claude Chauveau (drums), and Delphine Douillard (harp).

Harold Budd RIP – Harold Budd, one of pre-eminent American composers of avant-garde and minimalism, has died of complications from the coronavirus. Budd came to prominence in the 70s, championed by Brian Eno on his Obscure Records label, with music that blended academic minimalism with electric jazz and electronic music.
