Profile
Pain of Salvation is a Swedish progressive rock/metal band led by Daniel Gildenlöw, who is the band's main songwriter, lyricist, guitarist, and vocalist. The origin of the band starts in 1984 when Gildenlöw was only 11 years old and formed a band he called Reality. In 1991, the name was changed to Pain of Salvation, but it wasn't until 1997 that the first album was released. Gildenlöw has been the only constant member.
