Profile
Keith Relf (22 March 1943 – 12 May 1976) is best known as the singer of The Yardbirds. He also tried to launch a solo career alongside the Yardbirds from 1966 onward, and post-Yardbirds formed Together with Yardbirds drummer Jim McCarty, a collaboration that eventually led to the formation of Renaissance adding his sister Jane and other musicians. After he left the band in 1970, he went on to produce other artists and was involved in soundtrack work until the formation of the short lived Armegeddon, after which he planned a reunion with the original Renaissance band, now as Illusion, but he died before they released their first album.
