Bio / info
The Soft Boys was an English psychedelic band formed in 1976 in Cambridge, England as Dennis and the Experts. The group was originally comprised of Robyn Hitchcock (guitar), Rob Lamb (guitar), Andy Metcalfe (bass), and Morris Windsor (drums). Alan Davies replaced Lamb later in 1976, and Kimberley Rew eventually replaced Davies. Matthew Seligman replaced Metcalfe in 1979. The band broke up in 1980, with Hitchcock pursuing a prolific solo career and Rew forming Katrina and the Waves. The Soft Boys reunited for a short time in 2001, releasing one further album.
