Rick Wakeman

Rick Wakeman
Country

Profile
Rick Wakeman is one of the defining figures in progressive rock music when it comes to keyboards. His flashy style and distinctive classically influenced technique set the bar for those who followed. After some success as a session musician, he joined Strawbs during their transition from folk music to progressive rock. Then, as a member of Yes during its peak years, and on his own solo albums, he's remained one of the genre's prime figures, as well as a keen commentator on music.
